McCain is buying ads on google and go ahead click on them we make a few cents on it, but Obama appearantly doesnt feel he needs too or more likely Obamas keywords which dictates where a ad apears are words like Liberal daily Cos, surrender to Iran, Moonbats words like that. McCain obviously has tuned into our words that are frequently used here like veteran, service , ect stuff like that his adverts show up all the time on my blog too. Obama probally figures we are a demographic he will not do well with so he is conceding us to McCain which is stupid .
I loved Jesse Jackson comment yesterday lol too funny Conan O'brien did a skit on it lol. He something about cutting Barracks nuts off because he speaks down to African Americans

RE:McCain

At this point this comming election has given me nothing except a bad taste in my mouth, a ringing in my ears and most of all the desire to see a third party made up of all the people fed up with the politics that keeps giving us only a choice of the lessor of two evils to vote for !
All it seems we get is the extreems and the pandering I want a person whom say's how they feel and what they will do to handle the nations problems, treats them as real and with how it impacts on all and has the guts to let those on the edge know this nation is fed up doing that.
Both GOP an Democrats push the middle aside and have done so for much too long they talk about how good it will be 20 years down the road, some good that will do most young folks hitting forty when age will be a factor (unless in perfect health) as well as education lacking (how many service jobs offer or pay enough) preventing them from entering that job market.
The best way for this nation to do well is from the middle and even if many agree with this the parties will not, shall not allow this as seen in both camps McCain or Obama stray towards the middle they get pounded an hounded by their parties, media and blogs.
If you would please excuse me I have to blow chunks now the thought of a meaningless four more years comming this election to cater to those whom are not any better than spoiled an selfcentered and wanting to keep it that way has its impact an I do not care how much one looks at the glass as half full,it means nothing if its not yours or not shared !

Glen,
I'm the one that started this thread, the reasons are explained by Sean. I agree with your comments, next month I'm going to be 70 years old and have watched a lot of politics in my lifetime. In some ways nothing has changed and in other ways a lot has changed. The internal workings of the major parties are as always. But unfortunately the future of the country is in great peril. Just like the Roman Empire I fear we are on the way out. The only thing we really have is a massive inventory of nuclear weapons, I guess we can take the world with us if we so chose. While surfing tv tonight I saw an interview with Beck and Barr Ex R from Georgia, I guess he is going to run as a libertarian. Years ago I thought the man wasn't playing with a full deck but in todays circumstances he doesn't sound bad.
Take care,
Jon

I agree, it won't be long before they are all on the Capitol Stairs throwing coins to the enraged masses......... There is no real difference to the two parties, it is good theatre, but they are the same, and their self-interest is their game.

Los you said it, They represent big interests who can help get them elected. Its in their best interest for sure not ours.
I am a disgruntled Hilary Supporter I guess I can say that now she is out of the race. My loyalty to the party to fall in line is tough for me to swallow and I just do not think at this point I will. Maybe I will vote for Ron Paul will he be on the ballot lol.

Well, since Senator McCain's spending his ad money here, let's hope his people actually look at this site. Here's a message for them - You want some easy votes cast for Senator McCain in November? ENACT THE COLD WAR MEDAL! It's cheap. It's easy. It's as simple as that. Class dismissed.

Just some food for thought before the elections think on this BUSHY and McCain keep saying drill for more oil and all will be better !
Well all of this nations oil is "SOLD ON THE WORLD MARKET" now, so I have to wonder whom is going to get that DAMN OIL found from all that new drilling ?
Me thinks China,India, whom owns the most paper(DEBT) whom owns our physical property, just who has the biggest part of our collective ass?
Fannie Mae an Freddie Mac need to be bailed out will these nations holding the paper take a bath or the American Public ?
When you look upon your politicans remember they were part of this and worse told you nothing GOP or Democrat as well the mighty press, forget the medal folks we will be lucky to have a pot to piss in or an Army to fight the next world war with (oil said to be at 150.00 by July and 200.00 at years end) the World Wars came from fighting over comodieties after depressions WWI was sparked with an excuse (Germany was bankrupted after WWI and Japan wanted more oil this sparked WWII !
As for Obama well he best start talking how he plans to get our collective asses out of this meat grinder and what the hell he and the Democrats will do about the wonderful K Street Gang that promoted this B.S.(BTW its quite quiet and they are not speaking about this) and I feel sorry for those Goldwater GOP folks as I cannot belive they would have bought into this!
Tax and spend Democrats or Bankrupt an Debt GOP can anyone say a rock and a hard place an this is without the next World War, our actions durring the Cold War pissed away by the K's whom empowered China as well the Soviets ?
Maybe just maybe I have seen this wrong yet have I ?

OMG Glen your depressing me . We are in a bind but nothing this country can't rebound from with some real leadership. who that is or how the hell the right man for the job could or want to get elected is another thing. It has been hard watching this economy crumble over the last 7 years. Makes you miss old Alan Greenspan and old Bubba who would have thought we would look at the late 90's as good times. WOW Well there is hope I think in the long run these crazy prices for fuel may spark a economic boom in all sorts of alternative energy maybe like the old dot.com boom but bigger and more jobs for the average Joe's I would love to see the oil under all that sand in the gulf become obsolete or worthless. Wouldn't the Saudi's shit if oil was back to 30 bucks a Barrel or we became so green we imported zero of it .You guys see the T Boone Pickens ads?

Sorry folks its not to drag you down just to point out McCain has his head somewhere and he is far from alone the fact his long time mentor Sen.Gramm (one more ninnycon) whom said its all in our heads,ya right try telling that to my gas an oil tanks whom keep talking to me saying "more money" pleaseee "more money" we are so hungry pleaseee give us moreee !
The voices in my head are shreeking now "where is the leadership this nation needs" as we are thirty years behind the curve having forgotten the 70's oil crunch :(
Leadership is making the best choice, great leadership is making the best choice before its needed !

The war is about oil? (Greenspan says) Maybe -- but let's remember that we were once (not so long ago) an oil EXPORTING country (back around 1990, I think). And remember during the Reagan Administration oil went under 10 bucks a barrel!
Now isn't that better than going to war? Can you imagine how the Russkies would react to that? How would Iran pay for its weapons? After all, Saddam got his from the USSR -- and you saw how useless they were when confrontted by a superior force.

RE:McCain
(Date Posted:07/14/2008 17:37:09)
My posting is/was not about the war or even the oil in Iraq and tonight Brian Williams on NBC News became the first in the media to ask the question about the drilling Bush and McCain want and their claim that it would ease our problem with oil prices.
Fact acording to the NBC expert Brian asked it will not help as it would go onto the world market and even if added to the oil we export now will only make up about 15% of the oil we import, the only way it will help is to "NOT EXPORT OUR OIL",needless to say those companys would lose money and I am sure not want to do that.
The one thing both McCain and Obama have not talked about is Natural Gas and how much we have or a plan to convert at least homes to using it as well electric companys being converted to its use, this is about both Democrat as well GOP parties the Senate and Congress, last the White House where leadership has been vacant for near 40 years !
Durring that time frame they could have used the money from those tax cuts Bush paid out as well the stimuless package to have the American People in a much better position at the very least from its use and had they taken a harder look much more could have been done.
This is not about GOP or Democrat its about our people and our nation, the comming election and people asking questions on this nations future as well the peoples future.
I get nothing from any party and do not now or ever have been a member of them,I am an independant voter whom justs wants whats best for all, whom belives the middle is where we should be and that to listen to both sides and find it works best.
Last if the public looks very hard and thinks on this without a party line mindset or how the extreems have us wallowing in debt that our childrens, childrens, children may still be paying it time to press for questions you broke it how the hell do you plan to fix it!

I can't believe that Obama (aka Barry Soetero) questions McCain's honor. His campaign's response letter disclosing that he meant nothing by the "pig wearing lipstick" remark wasn't a smack at Sarah Palin. In the latter half of the response it questioned McCain's take on honor...but it was citing an interview where McCain was alluding that honor is often beyond wording. I hope that we do not become an Obamanation!

Well, here is my take. I think its dangerous to have PALIN as a running mate. WHO IN THE WORLD IS SHE ANYWAY? I know nothing about this lady, all she is is a "Hockey Mom" with NO EXPERIENCE from some small town in Alaska, and she could become PRESIDENT OF THE USA if McCain should kick the bucket. That is very dangerous. She'll have all the NUKE codes too. . Not saying to become an Obamanation but I am looking for that third party candidate and I hope he's a popular one that wins.
