From the web page of www.radvets.org, http://www.radvets.org/page160.htm

Curse of Depleted Uranium

Depleted Uranium, or DU, is used to harden armaments and equipment. The title "Depleted" is a "play on words", as some Uranium enriched within the past 60 years has a half-life of more than 4 billion years. Attached is a well documented paper on DU and its use and health effects, as known, and like much of the nuclear material to which people have been exposed, suspected.

To read this paper, submitted by a health expert to a member of the U.S. Congress, click here.

Iam posting this as a precaution and as an aid.
Iam diagnosed, Iam on the IRR list. Iam 52, my early stages of the effects of DU began 12 years ago. My last tour on an M1-A1 tank was Kosovo, EU theater 1983-1987. Iam prior service nukes Air Force SAC, Minuteman Missile II, Whiteman. 1974-1978. Ive been asked many times if I really need a light at night to read by.
The beginning affects of exposure creep up over time, and me and the 100 of us RADVETS in Arkansas can vouch for the pain and severre cronic pain, multiple arthritic and spine bone-loss, Tinnitus is a cause of DU exposure....except the VA has me as 10% as to my time in armor........with NO hearing loss, weird!
Clinical Depression, Neuropathy hipps and both leggs, Myloclonic seizures, memory loss, cataracts, tumors of the brain, and all the cancers that are known to man kind.
IF YOU EVEN BELEIVE YOU HAVE HANDLED, BEEN IN PROXIMITY, FIRED, IN HALED THE DUST....etc you have some help but like anything in the system, they ARE NOT GOING TO ASK YOU, YOU MUST TELL THEM!
Its the first thing you MUST do, get on the Ionized Radiated Registry list. Do this by, scheduling a "C&P exam To Get on The IRR list'.........is ALL you have to tell them;  thru your VAMC C&P office.
I advise you to contact the Radiated Veterans thru the web site Ive posted.

My Best to all of you, my Brothers and Sisters. Do NOT waste another day. "Time is Running Out!"
